The extensive renovation of the old Electric Company building in downtown Bedford, is making good progress. Our vision for an art gallery, bistro, music venue, and market is starting to take shape – but it’s one step at a time.
We are super excited to let everyone know the first part of our vision is officially open: the ElectricCoMarket. We are very happy with how the space is filling up and out. We have an eclectic, colorful mix of hand crafted and retail items for home, garden, and much more. Full of industrial character and historic charm, the market is located in the lower level of the building with an open floor plan and plenty of light.
We are pleased to have some great vendors on board including The Nested Magpie, Battery Creek Forge, Moyanne Interiors, Randy Cox Art, The Lake Gypsy, Mark Calhoun Photography, Glitz N’ Glaze Studio Pottery, Banister Goodes, BVA Mercantile, Beaver Dam Sunflower Farm, Keitha’s Artful Garden, Made With Liebe Pottery, Gross Orchard, Priss E. Nerd Jewelry, and more – so watch the website for vendor updates.
Our vendors offer everything from handcrafted pottery to custom oils and vinegars, wonderful candles, handcrafted soaps, upcycled clothing, jewelry, home decor, rustic furniture, and much more. Come visit us Monday through Saturday 11am – 6pm, and Sundays 12 noon – 5pm.
Also, if you don’t know, ElectricCoMarket is only one part of the ElectricCoArt family of businesses. Coming in the fall we will be opening our art gallery and the ElectricCoBistro – with our live music venue coming later. Stay tuned and we hope to see you in person soon!
